About the Midwest Motorcycle Rally
In July of 2008, a small group of motorcycle enthusiasts from several midwestern states agreed to meet in La Crosse, Wisconsin for an extended weekend of guided rides, good times, and camaraderie. They called their endeavor the Midwest Motorcycle Rally and it went so well, they did it again the following year and have been gathering in mid-July every year since. Each year we see new faces as well as familiar ones, some that go all the way back to the first rally. All are welcome.
As motorcycle gatherings go, the Midwest Motorcycle Rally is somewhat unique. Old school biker types, weekend warriors, casual touring riders, technical sport riders and others come together in what could pass for a family reunion on motorcycles. And speaking of motorcycles you’ll see scooters, full dressers, sportbikes, trikes, customs, and everything in-between. The atmosphere is as much about the friendships as it is about the rally activities, but the activities and events are really cool, too. The highlight of our rally weekend has always been the Guided Bike Tours, two days of multiple offerings designed to suit a variety of riding styles and interests.
Don’t take our word for it. Come and see for yourself. Lodging reservations for the Midwest Motorcycle Rally are already being taken by The Plaza Hotel & Suites in Winona, Minnesota… our new location!! Please register for the rally today — it’s free and easy — and then book your lodging directly with the hotel. See you in July!
